• What was Mommy like when she was a little girl?
• You had a pumpkin and you were on the animal thing and it fell like at Grandma's.
• How old is Mommy?
• 43.  Is that right?
• How tall is Mommy?
• 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 pounds.
• What is Mommy's favorite thing to do?
• Making cookies.
• What does Mommy do when you aren't around?
• Goes to Alayna's room.
• If Mommy becomes famous, what will it be for?
• Because I'm happy.
• What is Mommy really good at?
• Cookies.
• What is Mommy not very good at?
• Alayna's cupcakes.
• What is your Mommy's favorite food?
• Vegetables and oranges.
• What makes your Mommy proud?
• Listening.
• If Mommy was a cartoon character who would she be?
• Someone who has your hair.  But it would be you.
• What do you and Mommy do together?
• We make stuff.
• How are you and Mommy the same?
• Some of you hair is the same as mine.
• How are you and Mommy different?
• You are taller than me, but I am big tall.
• Where is your Mommy's favorite place to go?
• The movie theater.
• How do you know Mommy loves you?
• Because you say it.

She looked around for most of her answers.  Maybe when she is 5 we will do this again.

I really stink at this blog updating thing.

Caroline is fabulous. She has a boyfriend already and can write her name and do simple math.

Alayna is finally starting to make some noise. She had us worried there for awhile. She is still not laughing, but she does smile all the time. She is so close to crawling too.

In other news, it snowed the weekend of Valentine's Day.  Almost a foot!  It was wonderful!  We had so much fun building a snowman, a snow bear, and making snow angels.  Caroline even had a snowball fight with her Daddy.

I walked into the living room and found Caroline had dressed up and was singing to her sister. She was gracious enough to recreate so I could get a video.

Never thought I'd say the word PETITE and be talking about anyone in my family, but #2 is a little thing. She looks so little compared to all the little boys born around the same time. Alayna weighed 14lbs and 12 oz at her 4 month appointment. She is 25.5 inches long and has some big ole feet though!



Caroline is the most wonderful big sister we could ever hope for. She loves Alayna so much and always wants to help us or tries to calm Alayna down all by herself. It's too sweet for words.

The song is called "Daughter" by Loudon Wainwright III. It is from the movie Knocked Up and it was playing at the end during the credits. John loves this song.

Despite Alayna's rough start, she is doing great. At her 2 month appointment, she weighed 11 pounds and is 23 inches long. Unfortunately, she is a reflux baby and the doctor put her on Zantac. Hopefully, that is the reason she is such a crier and the meds will help.

I'll be going back to work on July 20th. I am ready...kind of. It will be interesting on the days that John is gone in the morning. I am nervous about that.

Caroline is a wonderful big sister and such a great helper. She loves to talk to Alayna and sings to her everyday. It's pretty cute.
