Finally!

We are here! We are officially moved in to our new house! Yes, it is an unorganized and undecorated mess, but we are here. It's definitely taking some getting used to and I don't feel 100% comfortable here yet.

The kitchen is fantastically big and beautiful. I was worried about the colors, but I'm not anymore. See...already a mess!



We also have a guest of the not as cute as Mickey variety. We thought we got him the other night, but now we are not so sure. Let's hope he's not in a super hiding place dying. Ew Ew Ew!

In non house related news, I am definitely showing. I had to dig out the maternity jeans and am down to only 2 very stretchy work pants that are comfortable. Last sono at 10 weeks and 6 days showed a very squirmy little one already. I'm curious to see if all this movement lasts.

Caroline will be 3 years old in just 2 short weeks. Time has flown by! She is not quite potty trained yet, but is super smart and will be moving up to junior pre-k at school a week or 2 after her birthday. We are excited for her.

Aack!!! We just want out of here!

We are hoping to close SOMETIME within the next week or two. We'll just have to see!

In other news, baby #2 is growing like a little weed. There is definitely only one in there. Caroline is very excited. When she looks at the sonogram pics, she says it's her baby sister in Mommy's belly.

Caroline is trying out a soccer class tomorrow at school. We are not sure how well she will listen since they usually don't start the kids until they are 3. She's so smart, so we are hoping she enjoys it and follows directions. We just found out she will be moving up to the next room at school sometime after her birthday. Our smart little girl is growing up!

Hopefully, we'll be closing next week. There is still quite a bit to do. We are SO ready to move!

Here are some new pictures of the house

They've finally started the brick and stone. The cabinets are in, but not stained. The final picture is the living room/bar/kitchen and nook area.

It's raining! Boo!

It rained most of the day today except for a small portion of time this morning. In that time, they put up the garage door and a few bricks. The goal is to be done completely by the 30th. Cross your fingers!

Sorry I've been lax on updating

The house is moving along. They should start the drywall this week. Our brick is in and we had a minor mishap of the wrong stone being delivered. It should be fixed rather quickly. We are so excited. John just met with the cabinet guy and the builder and on one wall of the kitchen will be 12 feet of cabinets!!! It will be a GORGEOUS kitchen!

Caroline loves school. She has so many friends and knows so many words! She's a little chatterbox. She loves to sing and dance and when she is not being 2 and a half, she is pure joy. Here's a picture of Caroline and Grandma P. making a birthday cake. Doesn't she look like she's having a blast?
